GOLF COURSE OPEN!
The Garrison Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course. Perched some 800 feet above the Hudson River with stunning views of the rugged Hudson Highlands terrain as its backdrop, few courses in the country are favored with as lovely a setting. Designed in 1961 by architect Dick Wilson as a challenging highlands course, it is characterized by a varied topography with woodsy, rolling hills, many elevation changes, tough tee shots over deep ravines, side hill lies and challenging greens. True to Wilson’s intention and the sporting tradition of golf, we keep a natural looking and well maintained golf course. We encourage the presence of birds and wildlife and pursue our commitment to a cleaner and safer environment through certification in the Audobon International program.
The Garrison Golf Club is open to the public on a daily-fee basis from April through November, weather permitting.
About the Course
The
front nine are close fitting, with rolling, heavily treed terrain,
which drops several hundred feet before three uphill holes bring
you back to the pro shop. The back nine, set on a shelf among
the hills, are more open and forgiving, but precise shot making
is still rewarded, especially on the 17th hole, where the green
is nested among trees, sand, and water.
Well-groomed, graced with mature oaks and hemlocks and stitched with stone walls, The Garrison golf course is unmistakably in the spirit of the region. And for added speed of play, we offer tee times at 12-minute intervals.

The
Pro Shop
Our Pro Shop sells clubs and accessories as well as men's and
women's clothing, including a wide selection of outerwear when
the weather turns. We feature top-end brand names, including Callaway,
CRGolf, Fidra, FootJoy, Nike, and TaylorMade. Golfers may purchase
day access to our newly refurbished locker room. The $5 fee includes
all day access to showers, your own locker and a dop kit.

The
Terrace Grill
Golfers can enjoy a light breakfast and casual lunch or dinner
at The Terrace Grill, located directly behind the Pro Shop overlooking
the first tee. The Grill is a tented, al fresco restaurant with
four-star views of the River and mountains. The Terrace Grill
features light "grab and go" breakfast offerings perfect
for early morning golf outings; after 11am enjoy a freshly prepared
menu salads, sandwiches and burgers that is available until closing.
With a full bar and a satellite tv to view the latest sports scores,
it is a favorite al fresco destination for locals as well as the
perfect spot for post-golf relaxation.
