Craving a rejuvenating weekend close to New York City? Looking for a mid-week getaway chock full of activities that range from golf, kayaking and hiking to antiquing, shopping at the local farmers markets and visiting museums like Dia:Beacon?
At The Garrison you can enjoy all of that, plus magnificent sunsets from our terraces overlooking the Hudson River followed by a memorable meal at our critically-acclaimed Valley restaurant.
With stunning views of the Hudson River, the golf course and surrounding countryside, our intimate four-room Inn offers guests a tranquil oasis from their daily routine. Designed to reflect a relaxed country elegance, the non-smoking rooms are done in soothing shades of sage, cream and mushroom. Each room features a king-sized bed with a marble and mosaic tile bathroom with walk-in shower. Room amenities include goose down duvet, luxurious linens, and pillows in soft, medium and firm; toiletries by FACE Stockholm; in-room plasma TV; a mini-refrigerator; an in-room safe; hair-dryer and high-speed internet access. Each room includes a coffee-maker with coffee and tea cartridges, as well as complimentary fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars and bottled water.
We are a four-room country inn, with lovely and comfortable accommodation. Rooms are located on the second floor, accessible by two staircases (no elevator). A small inn, we do not have bell service, room service or full-time reception staff.
Valley Restaurant and World's End Bar at The Garrison are open mid-March through mid-December Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and for Sunday brunch. Our Terrace Grill and Bar at the Golf Pro Shop are open daily during golf season from 8am - 6pm, including breakfast items such as egg sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and bagels. Tavern Restaurant at our nearby Highlands Country Club is open mid-December through mid-March, for dinner Thursday through Saturday, and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
The Inn is quite busy spring through fall, particularly on weekends, so we recommend making your reservations well in advance. However, do give us a call if you make spontaneous plans for a getaway as we always welcome last minute reservations if space is available.
ROOM RATES
Room rates at the Inn vary depending upon the season. For the season April through October rates are $250 a night Fri - Sun, $175 Wed & Thu, and $150 Mon & Tue, plus tax. Please call for rates in other seasons.

Cancellation Policy
Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly and leave us little time to refill the space you have left. Unfortunately, there are NO cancellations or refunds for any reason once a reservation is booked. This includes refunds in the event of airline cancellations, inclement weather, highway closures, natural disasters or illness; nor do we give refunds on unused portions of packages, including unused meals, golf lessons, or spa treatments.
